Before and After Update Pics
Hi Everyone,
I am still expanding with the blessing of my dentist. Here are some picture updates. I asked about maintaining results and my dentist stated it will be different base on each case. When I am finished with my treatment I will let you know how my results will be maintained.

Picture Update and Questions Answered
Hi All,
I had a few questions about expansion and jaw growth. I am only expanding the upper and the chin is just naturally coming forward. It is working very well.
When smiling I notice that I am now physically unable to smile as big as I used to. My gums are now barely showing...my face feels different when I smile now...I don't know how to explain it but it is a great thing! :)
When I speak and eat my jaw no longer pops. I can speak more clearly and feel a noticeable difference in the amount of room my tongue has. I can breathe very well through my nose now. I am VERY happy with the results! Still expanding at least for 5 more weeks. My dentist is keeping an eye on things and I will have another update at the end of September.

Update 1 Year Before and After
Hi Everyone! I am breathing well and am so happy with the results so far. I went to the dentist Monday and we are going to expand forward for a little while so I have more room for my tongue. I will keep you updated as usual :)

DNA Appliance Helping Me Breath Better
Hi All,
I have been noticing another round of improvements to my breathing. My nose seems to be opening up as well as my left ear. I just feel a slight pressure as the DNA appliance is working. I have been widening more going 2 turns wide and 1 turn forward. I am currently turning about once a week.

Update DNA Appliance Before and After Pics
Just wanted to post another 4 month update. I can breathe better than ever now! My profile continues to improve! I am so happy!!! The dentist also let me know no metal braces!!!....just some invisalign! yay!!!

DNA Appliance Before and After Progress and Pictures
Hi all! I am so happy with my progress so far and I still have 4 months to go. I can breathe so much better and my neck does not hurt anymore. I am happy with the changes in my appearance so far too!!!

Amazing DNA Appliance!!!
Hi Everyone! I just received my DNA Appliance a little over 3 weeks ago and I am amazed by my results thus far.
On the first day wearing my DNA Appliance my ears opened up and within 2 days breathing through my nose was easier. My lower jaw is already moving forward. I can also see my cheekbones popping out and the lower portion of my face looks as though I have gained weight. The dentist plans on doing 6mm of correction....so far I have done 3 key turns which puts me at .75mm of expansion thus far.
I will continue to post about every 4 weeks and will update the blog with pictures.
Here is my ortho history:
Due to mouth breathing my upper palate is narrow (34mm) - should be at least 38mm.
I have had braces 3 times in total. Twice when I was young (2nd grade through 6th grade). Due to my teeth crowding as I aged I went back and had Invisalign in my 20's.
I also had headgear in elementary school which pushed my face back and caused me to have vertical facial development instead of horizontal.
My tonsils and adenoids were removed at the end of my ortho treatment when I was 12. My neck was very swollen.
When I was young I was told I had a tongue thrust and never received any myofascial therapy.
One side of my face is more developed than the other causing some asymmetry.
I suffer from neck pain and trouble breathing through my nose.
As a child I had an undetected gluten allergy which was discovered when I was 28 and diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis (an autoimmune disease).
