  1. You should be happy - your results are great! Your midface area has really improved and your chin looks more forward - it really shows in your profile.

Are you done with both the lateral and forward expansion? Have the # of millimeters for lateral and forward expansion been what the dentist predicted, or were there any changes?

    1. Thank you! I am continuing to expand both lateral and forward. I am not sure how many mm I measure at this time... I will ask at my next appointment in February and let you know.

  2. Christie,

could you let me know if you wore a bottom appliance or just a top appliance? Did you have any jaw soreness or inflammation during any part of your treatment? Did you do any tongue exercises or facial muscle exercises during treatment? Did you use the same appliance for the entire treatment? Great results, you look great.

    1. Hi Laurie,
I am not wearing a bottom appliance. The bottom teeth are naturally tipping out. Every once in a while I felt pressure. I also felt what I can best describe as growing. My ears would open and I would feel that. I would also feel my nose opening. My dentist explained to me how to swallow properly so I do that. So far I am still using the same appliance. Thank you :)

    2. Christie,
Thanks for the reply. One more question , how often did you have to see your dentist? I don't have one near by, and didn't know if this could be done long distance with visits every few months. Thanks so much for sharing your blog... I email it to everyone! I am so amazed at your results.

    3. Hi Laurie,
I go in every 6 weeks. You may want to contact my dentist...I think he may be able to work with you long distance.
